Future Leaders!

Last week we saw our year 10 & 11 pupils from Elland House School took part in mock interviews to help give them employment skills for when they leave us.

What a way to prepare the young students for working life than with a mock interview, the interviews took place at the head office at Timeout. The pupils arrived wearing suits and smart attire, they waited in the communal area of the office while members of staff called on the pupils which individually all had there own private interviews in various offices in the main building.

There was a few nervous faces but the staff all reported back to me that the all candidates did extremely well and this proved to be a great way to give them support and knowledge of how important it is to be prepared for future interviews.

The pupils were interviewed by education staff from Elland House School, the HR manager and the Director of the company. The staff members all agreed that the pupils were professional and a credit to the school.
