Platty Joobs!!!

Well what a way to start the Jubilee Celebrations!!

 

 

The team at Timeout pulled together to host a fabulous party day at Brearley Hall School.

The day was awash with activities sports and crafting to suit all children and not forgetting a delicious lunch of sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes and scones all washed down with squash!

Brearley Hall was the perfect venue to host the platinum jubilee party for the young people, staff and carers.

The grounds were decorated with union jack bunting and balloons, to mark the special occasion.

The main school building was set up with a long table with chairs to set a street party atmosphere. The children sat down to the fantastci lunch provided by our chef Joel.

When the children and carers had arrived it was very clear they had taken note of the dress code : Royal Fancy Dress!!

Queens, Princesses, Princes and Guards had arrived at Brearley Hall!

Before everyone sat down to lunch we all headed down to the sports ground to play an enthusiastic game of cricket ( we have some budding sports people among us!)

We also participated in relay games where the staff joined in too, before the rain threatened so we retreated back to the main school building.

The rain did not stop the children having fun, a craft table had been set up so the children could make their own crowns and tiaras, to take home.

All in all it was a successful day and great fun was had by all involved!
